6/13/14

Justice reversed/Nine of Wands. Justice is a card of adjustment, and it corresponds with the element of Air (hot/separates and wet/adapts, and quick, animated energy that usually brings problems or challenges that bring growth), Libra (“we are,” partnerships, balance, cooperation), Lamed (ox goad; training or teaching), and the Path between Tiphareth (the hub of the creation process where energies harmonize and focus to illuminate and clarify) and Geburah (the place where forms and structures are challenged or affirmed).  This card has a sword in its image, and it presents two important concepts: balance and truth.  Justice reminds us that the purpose of the law is to implement and manifest these two concepts.  Because my Justice card is reversed, balance and truth may be hidden today.  Also, the one who metes out Justice is a person of authority, and I don’t think that should be me.  The Nine of Wands (Moon, feelings and emotions, illusion, imagination, in Sagittarius, “I seek,” philosophic, fun-loving, adventurous, blundering) tells us that the final challenge approaches, and we need to ready ourselves so we can guard our assets.  This card also tells of order and control, and it suggests that we plan for possible hostilities to come, the way a seasoned warrior would plan.  Looks like I might be able to handle that reversed Justice card, if I make use of my past experiences before acting.

My Thoth cards are the Ten of Swords (“Ruin”) reversed and the Three of Cups (“Abundance”).  The Ten of Swords (the Sun, the inner core of a person or situation, in Gemini, “I think,” curious, sociable, dual, talkative) in an upright position tells of the perception that interference, powerlessness and restriction will rule the day.  This card can be seen as representing a breakdown of the thinking and analyzing process, but I should be able to lessen the effects of that breakdown. The Three of Cups (Mercury, reason, intelligence, orderliness, communication, in Cancer, “I feel,” sensitive, tenacious, nurturing, moody) is about connections, emotional abundance, and about blessings.  There might be some kind of unexpected connection through the efforts of the day, a good connection.  Let’s hope so.

My Legacy card is The Sun reversed, flavored by Justice reversed (again!). The Sun corresponds with Fire (hot/separates and dry/shapes, spontaneous, impulsive and energetic change), our Sun (the inner core of a person or situation), Resh (the face; reason), and the Path between Yesod (the place where patterns and images emerge that may manifest in the physical world) and Hod (provides analysis and communication), and upright it tells of a time of enlightenment and peace that comes after the completion of some ordeal.  Even reversed, The Sun is not a bad card, just a bit less intense in its illumination.  Today, we’ve been experiencing these lovely thunderstorms, with gusts of wind, heavy rains, and a cooling of the air.  These moments when The Sun is not shining are pleasant, too.  My reversed Sun is being flavored by another reversed Justice card.  The Legacy reversed Justice card equals all the usual and customary messages, but it also tells of indecision, setbacks, and difficult adjustments.

My 6-digit date number is 6, the number of vertical and horizontal balance.

My horoscopes: “Today your emotional intuition intensifies your mental abilities, Sagittarius. Friends and family members are likely to grow closer to you. You may be more aware of what they really need and want, and they could see you in a new light. This can make you feel loved and wanted. The downside is that your empathy is so high that you may pick up on everyone's aches and pains. Try to keep yourself bathed in the white light.

And: “Today is an excellent day just to let yourself be guided by your intuition. If you have time, you might just want to let your mind go, and follow your train of thought wherever it takes you. You might find something out about yourself that you weren't aware of, and that was just waiting for you to notice it! Remember, your desires are fantasies before they become realties, so let yourself dream a little.

I have spent some time on Mooji’s website, and I found that he has an Ashram.  In Portugal.  Oh well, thankfully there is the website, and there are live satsangs broadcasted there!  Below are Mooji’s suggested tenets for living, taken from his website.  I think they are good, and they work right alongside my Wiccan tenets and my Yogic tenets.

Strive to attain Liberation.
Inquire constantly into the nature of the Self.
Treat everyone with love and respect.
                Rest but don't be idle.
Know and remember that discipline supports true liberation.
Don't waste your time here. Your time here is for Freedom.
                Don't judge and don't gossip.
                Don't socialize.
                Don't steal and don't waste.
Every task, undertaken with the right attitude, contributes towards your liberation.
Say "thank you" to existence unceasingly; keep your heart full of gratitude.
Say "YES" to the true with all your heart.

Not bad, eh?
