Judgement reversed/Six of Swords. Judgement corresponds with Fire (hot/separates and dry/shapes, and spontaneous, impulsive and energetic change), Pluto (power, metamorphosis, cycles of dying and becoming), Shin (fang), and the Path between Malkuth (the physical world of action and physical, outer reality) and Hod (provides analysis and communication) and represents an opportunity to tally up and pay the bill so we can have a fresh start.  My Judgement card is reversed, so that means there may not be situations that allow me to move forward, not just yet. The Six of Swords (Mercury, reason, intelligence, education, communication, in Aquarius, “I know,” friendships, the group, cause oriented) is about balance, healing, moving towards a better place, and even about learning the science behind things that work (because understanding why they work makes them more effective).  The keywords for the Hermetic Tarot Six of Swords are success after anxiety or trouble, labor, dominion, and the one possible danger, conceit.  I need to visualize healing and moving towards a new place in order to bring about the tallying and ending of the Judgement card, so this pair makes sense.

My Thoth card is Art reversed. Art/Temperance corresponds with Sagittarius (“I seek,” philosophic, adventurous, blundering) Fire (hot/separates and dry/shapes, and spontaneous, impulsive, energetic change), Samekh (the tent post), and the Path between Yesod (the place where patterns and images emerge that may manifest into the physical world of action and outer reality) and Tiphareth (the hub of the creation process where energies harmonize and focus to illuminate and clarify), and it is one of the Major Arcana cards that presents one version of the concept of balance.  My Temperance card is reversed today, but this may not necessarily represent an imbalance.  We can’t know how to bring balance unless we’ve experienced the extremes that help us to understand what not being balanced feels like.

My Legacy card is the Ace of Coins, flavored by the Page of Cups. The Ace of Coins (Aries, “I want,” action oriented, assertive, competitive, Taurus, “I have,” sensual, cautious, stubborn, and Gemini, “I think,” curious, talkative, dual, social) tells of the presence of potential that is connected in some way to the physical world.  In order to begin manifesting this potential, I will probably need to go slowly, be practical, and take advantage of processes that have already been proven as effective.  The Page of Cups corresponds to Libra (“we are,” partnerships, balance, cooperation), Scorpio (“I desire,” intensity compulsion, mystery) and Sagittarius (“I seek,” philosophic, adventurous, blundering);  this is a card of soft and tender energies.  This Page tells me that even if others judge me as being soft, I need to be compassionate and tender and loving.  I need to also listen to my own Inner Voice, and believe that it is real, and right.

My 6-digit date number is 4, the number of depth and stability.

My horoscopes: “It isn't a good idea to try to fit people into a mold today, Sagittarius. This will only annoy others and frustrate you. It's important that you relax and simply let people blossom into the people they want to be. If you have a preconceived notion of who they should be, you're only setting yourself up for failure and disappointment, as well as anger from the other party.

And: “It certainly is a relief when the hostilities subside, isn't it? Lately, it has seemed as though people have slammed doors in your face repeatedly. But today a visit or encounter will unlock some mysteries for you. Will your problems finally be solved? If you are committed to unearthing your originality, you will be fulfilled today.

My Shadowscapes Insight is regarding The Tower.  Yes, this one is about sudden change, chaos, and a violent adjustment.  It is also about being forced to endure a necessary disruption in the status quo, and this is probably the most important message of this card today.  None of us want to be uncomfortable, but too much ease makes us soft.  And if we attempt to cling to that ease past its time of usefulness, a total collapse of the system will certainly be next.

Busy weekend coming up.  The Cape May Jazz Festival is this weekend, and we have a house full.  We will be celebrating our survival of the past few weeks, as well.
