Page of Wands/Three of Swords reversed. Page
of Wands (Cancer, “I feel,”
sensitive, tenacious, nurturing, moody; Leo, “I am,” passionate, dramatic noble
egotistical; and Virgo, “I serve,” practical, analytical, work and service
oriented) is the spark that might end up creating
a conflagration. This Page is
eager to take in power, and to use his skills and abilities. Is he up to the task? If enthusiasm is the indicator, the
answer is yes! The Three of
Swords (Saturn, discipline, responsibility, limitations and resistance, in
Libra, “We are,” partnerships, balance, cooperation) in an upright position usually
indicates the possibility that logic, rationalizing and the intellect could end
up causing harm if they are not used with balance and compassion. My Three of Swords is reversed, so I just
might be able to short circuit any “poor me” thoughts before they take control,
and thus I should be able to visualize good stuff.
My Thoth card is The Empress
reversed. Season’s change The Empress (which corresponds with
Earth (cold/binds and dry/shapes, and stable, material, practical energies that
are slow to change), Venus (beauty, allure, pleasure, relationships), the
Hebrew letter Daleth (door or womb) and the Path between Binah (female
receptive energy and the origin of form and structure) and Chokmah on the Tree
of Life (dynamic male energy and the origin of vital force and polarity)) is one
half of the Major Arcana representation of the Sacred Feminine. The Empress is about creativity,
fertility of all kinds, a deep connection to Nature and its workings; since my
Empress is reversed, all these pleasures could end up dissipating my focus.
My Legacy card is The Fool reversed,
flavored by the Queen of Wands. The Fool corresponds with Air (hot/separates and wet/adapts, and
challenges that tend to require the use
of the intellect to solve), Uranus (technology, science, radical change), Aleph
(the head, youthful learning) and the Path between Chokmah (male in the
electric sense, dynamic energy and the origin of vital force and polarity) and
Kether (the source; limitless possibility). The Fool is the spark that begins the idea, and his powers
and energies are neither positive nor negative. My Fool is reversed, though, and being flavored by the Queen
of Wands. The Queen of Wands (cusp of Pisces, “I
believe,” feelings, duality, soul growth, spirituality, and Aries, “I want,”
action oriented, assertive, competitive) is energetic and enthusiastic, gives
100% of herself, and always has a smile on her face and humor in her heart. My Queen is not about undocumented
optimism, and since The Fool is reversed, I just might need to listen to the
Queen. Now granted, the suit of
Wands can be unpredictable, but the rank of Queen keeps that Fire under
control. So I think I will trust
her rather than the reversed Fool, and indeed in a reversed position, its
message could be to be careful, ask questions, and look before I leap.
My 6-digit date number is 3, the number
that tells of a new creation out of the potential and position of the Ace, and
the balance, polarity, and understanding of distance between of the 2.
My horoscopes: “You may be confused when it comes to matters of the heart,
Sagittarius. Perhaps you feel cheated when the object of your desire doesn't
give you complete attention at all times. The fundamental security of your
being is your responsibility, not someone else's. Find a way to incorporate
your dreams into the dreams of others instead of always working toward goals at
opposite sides of the spectrum.”
And: “The
day ahead should be fairly positive, and you will begin to feel the faintest
hints of a major change beginning today. This new phase will last seven months.
As it progresses, you will find greater freedom of expression and you can
expect to go into high gear on subjects you used to avoid in the past. Some
friction with your brothers and sisters is likely to arise in the next few
months.”
My Shadowscapes Insight is regarding the
Nine of Pentacles. LOL, this seems
to be my suit with this deck. This
card offers a bridge between the spiritual and the physical, and I love the
fact that the Shadowscapes Nine of Pentacles uses music to create this
bridge. And of course, being able
to create music involves discipline, and the ability to trust ourselves and our
abilities.
We’ve let Astrology sit for long
enough! And guess what? It’s actually time to start talking
about the individual signs! We’ve
talked about Astrology in general, we’ve talked about Cardinal, Mutable and
