King of
Cups reversed/Four of Wands. The King of Cups (cusp of Libra, “We are,”
partnerships, balance, cooperation, and Scorpio, “I desire,” intense,
controlling mysterious, obsessive) is the expert on emotions and the
subconscious, mainly because of his life experiences. When upright, he is able to be calm, caring and diplomatic,
and still get things done by getting others working together in a productive
way. But my King is reversed, and
emotions and feelings might not be useful to me today, particularly the
emotions and feelings of others. The Four of Wands (Venus, beauty, allure,
relationships, in Aries, “I want,” action oriented, assertive, enthusiastic) is
about building enough to become established, about the results of harmony and
effort and creativity combined. This card has good vibes; we have Fire and we
have a stable foundation, a great platform for creativity. No useful Watery energy but look out
for that Fire! Something good
might be approaching.
My
Thoth cards are the Two of Wands (“Dominion”) and the Two of Swords (“Peace”)
reversed. The Two of Wands (Mars, action,
spontaneity, aggression, drive, in Aries, “I want,” action oriented,
pioneering, assertive, enthusiastic) tells of power, influence and authority,
and the implementation of the Will.
This card presents an immature version of the Four of Wands above, and
again I’m being reminded in the power to be had from owning an event or idea. The Two of Swords (Moon, feelings and emotions, illusion, imagination, in
Libra, “We are,” partnerships, balance, cooperation) in an upright position represents
a time of not looking or of shutting out the world. Because my Two is reversed, it is validating the Two of
Wands. Lots of interactions; after
all, Fire works because it has fuel, and fuel is available.
My
Legacy card is the Three of Swords reversed (whew!), flavored by The Lovers. The Three
of Swords (Saturn, discipline, responsibility, limitations and resistance, in
Libra, “We are,” partnerships, balance, cooperation), my least favorite card in
the entire deck, usually indicates the possibility that logic, rationalizing
and the intellect could end up causing harm if they are not used with balance
and compassion. Since my Three of
Swords is reversed, any situations that might present the possibility of harm
will end up not nearly as bad as expected. My reversed Three of Swords is being
flavored by The Lovers. The Lovers (Air, hot/separates and
wet/adapts, quick and animated, intellectual, problems or challenges; Gemini,
“I think,” curious, talkative, sociable, dual; Zayin, double-edged sword; and
the Path between Tiphareth, the hub of the creation process where energies harmonize and focus to illuminate and
clarify, and Binah, female receptive energy and the origin of form and
structure) tells of duality, union, and personal choices. This card is about love, but it is also
about our personal values and how they affect our choices, and the promises we
make to others. The Lovers present
the two halves that when united are greater than the sum of their parts, and
because it is flavoring my reversed Three of Swords, challenges will offer
opportunities for connections and support. Interestingly, The Lovers can indicate a moment of doubt;
once again, the ending will be happy and perhaps the pause presented by doubt
will allow beneficial choices.
My
6-digit date number is 4, the number of depth and stability.
My
horoscopes: “You might be hard and cold when it comes to the facts,
Sagittarius, and you could come across as tough and rather harsh. In reality,
this often just masks your sensitive interior. Perhaps you're insecure about
your feelings and how you express yourself. People might never know this
because you're so good at showing only the strong-willed, electric side of your
personality. Be careful of being too stingy about sharing yourself with others”
And: “Today
you may sit down at the computer for just a minute to research something on the
Internet and wind up spending most of the afternoon entranced by what you're
reading. You could very well stumble upon some information on the occult and
mysticism. You've always been fascinated, and now that you've begun learning
you don't want to stop. Perhaps you could enroll in a workshop to learn and
mingle with others with a similar interest.”
