Transparent Oracle Sunday!!

47, Jupiter (Above). The direction of Above takes us up and out of the four traditional elements of Air, Fire, Water and Earth, and reminds us that we are but a small part of the Cosmos.  Above also reminds us that while the Machinery of the Universe is huge, it does have an effect on each of us, and each of us is an important part of the workings of that Machinery.  Jupiter is about expansion, intelligence, justice and optimism.  It reminds us that we are all leaders, and that we have a responsibility to choose our thoughts, words and actions with care because we do have effects on others around us.  And while doing this, we also need to keep our sense of humor, or things will go bad quickly. 

12, Weather: Lightning (South). South is the direction of the midday sun and the peak of power and illumination; this direction is associated with passionate drive and creativity.  Lightning is a powerful and transformative card.  It represents the breaking down of the current structures in our lives in order to clear the air for new awareness; Lightning provides this relief from oppression in a sudden, chaotic, and sometimes violent manner.  Not fun, but the insights and changes of perception that might result from this sudden jolt should be worth the momentary discomfort. 

14, Time of Day: Midday (South). The direction of South corresponds with the element of Fire, which brings spontaneous, impulsive and energetic change; the elemental dignities of Fire are hot/separates and dry/shapes.  At Midday, there are no shadows; everything is illuminated, and at least for a while, everything can be perceived easily, without any effort.  However, we must remember that this time of peak power needs to be temporary, so we should not depend too much on it. 

I then created my mandala.  Interesting.  Everything is balanced and stable, except for the giant orb of Jupiter, which is on the lower left of the mandala.  Everything is expanding!  The Lightning is shooting outward, the rays of the Midday sun are reaching outward, and Jupiter is circling it all, seeming to supercharge this expansion.  Power!  But perhaps, just perhaps, imbalance as well.  All three of these cards are about expanding and changing, and none of them are slow and careful.  Warning!  Possible danger!!

This does not, however, mean I need to bail.  Can I control all this?  That is, in reality, the question. 

I’m still feeling good, still exercising, stretching and doing Yoga regularly, and biking on the weekends.  My weight did not change this week, but that does not surprise me as I haven’t plateaued in weeks.  This does not bother me at all.  I love the way my body feels, love the way my energy field feels.  The scale will take care of itself, and LOL, I can’t believe I just said that.
