Five of
Wands/The Wheel of Fortune reversed.
The Five of Wands,
which corresponds with Saturn (discipline, responsibility, law and order) in
Leo (“I am, passionate, dramatic, egotistical) indicates a struggle caused by
annoying cross-purposes. This is
not always a bad thing, although it can be frustrating to deal with. After all, a breakdown of communication
(likely caused by an inconsistent effort) is a pain even if the effect of the
breakdown makes us aware of the need for better communication. The
Wheel of Fortune (Fire (hot/separates and dry/shapes, and spontaneous,
impulsive and energetic change), Jupiter (expansiveness and growth, justice,
fortune), Kaph (grasping hand), and the Path between Netzach (the stimulating
factors of emotion and inspiration) and Chesed (the
place where forms and structure are stabilized and nurtured)) tells of sudden
movement, but not movement caused by us or controlled by us. In an upright position, The Wheel
reminds us that nothing is permanent and everything is always in motion, motion
that we can’t control. However, my
Wheel is reversed, and it is validating my interpretation of the Five of
Wands. I **can** do something
about this. Focus!!
My
Thoth cards are the Ten of Wands (“Oppression”) reversed and the Ace of
Wands. Clear message! The Ten of Wands (Saturn, discipline, responsibility, limitations
and resistance, in Sagittarius, “I seek,” philosophic, fun-loving, blundering) tells
of being taxed to some perceived
limit, or of feeling as if we are out of gas at the bottom of a hill. This card can also tell of a passion
that has taken a life of its own and gotten out of control. Talk about a heavy burden. But since my Ten of Wands is reversed,
I should be able to find a happy ending. The Ace of Wands (Leo, “I am,” passionate, dramatic,
egotistical, Virgo, “I serve,” practical, analytical, sensible, orderly) tells
of the initial emanation of enthusiasm or inspiration that could very well energize
an entire process or project. Lots
of Fiery energy here, but in the early stages; Will has not yet been
manifested. I had this Ace
yesterday, too, so the manifestation has not yet happened.
My
Legacy card is The World, flavored by the Page of Wands. Niiiice! The
World/Universe, which corresponds with Earth (cold/binds and dry/shapes, and
material, stable and practical energy that is slow to change), Saturn
(discipline, responsibility, limitations and resistance), Thav (mark or sign),
and the Path between Malkuth (the physical world of action and physical, outer
reality) and Yesod (the place where patterns and images emerge that may
manifest into the physical world) is a card of integration and involvement and
understanding, a crystallization of the entire issue at hand. The World is a card of an ending that
contains the seed of a new beginning, and so it tells of a change or emigration
of sorts. The World is being flavored with a nice
card today, the Page of Wands. The Page of Wands (Cancer, “I feel,” sensitive, tenacious,
nurturing, moody; Leo, “I am,” passionate, dramatic noble egotistical; and
Virgo, “I serve,” practical, analytical, work and service oriented) is fun to be around, unless you have a migraine. This Page is reminding me that I am only being restricted if
I believe this is so, and I am better off being enthusiastic about whatever is
happening, and open to new experiences.
There is always room to play, too.
My
6-digit date number is 7, the number that tells of the pause that comes as
growth slows and degeneration approaches, usually requiring a choice of some
kind.
My
horoscopes: “Intimacy will be in the air over the next few days. Loved
ones suddenly want to spend more time with you, and you'll want to invite
friends over every night! By all means, do. You'll be recharged, and some of
the wonderful discussions could lead to something great. However, there may be
a bit of tension in the air to temper all that closeness, since not everyone
will agree with your point of view.”
And: “You
may have an urge to invent new things. You feel compelled to create something,
either in the artistic, technical, or philosophical fields. If only you would
give yourself enough time to pursue these imaginings. Today, realize that
concentration is the key to accomplishment. Put away such distractions as
books, magazines, and newspapers and you may well be surprised by the wealth of
inspiration that comes to you.”
