Transparent Oracle today!
26, Guide: Otter (West). West is the direction of Water, and thus, of feelings and
emotions, relationships of all kinds, cleansing and healing, the wisdom
associated with natural endings, and the bubbling up of pure joy. The first thing I think of when I see
the Otter card is joyful playing.
Otters are known for their play, and play is a sign of intelligence and
awareness. Otters are at home both
on Earth and in Water; they form strong family bonds, and work hard to protect
their group of family or friends.
All while playing tag!
38, Guide: Owl (North). North is the direction of Earth, and thus of the physical or
physically formed or manifested world, and of nurturing, health, finances and
security, and the wisdom associated with living simply, being well-grounded,
and being in touch with our physical body. Owl is a night hunter, and thus is very good at perceiving
things, even in the dark. Because
Owl can fly silently, he is also associated with silence; dark silence can be
uncomfortable for some. Owl tends
to be solitary, but this nature allows Owl to be objective and detached, and to
gain much wisdom from life experiences.
28, Guide: Frog
(West). West is the
direction of Water, sensitive, imaginative
energy that strives to stay the same or take the same course; energy that is cold and wet, that binds
and adapts. Water is about
emotions, feelings, the Inner Voice, dreams, intuition, and Water is connected
to both birth and death. Water is necessary for Frog to exist
and thrive. Frog tells of
fertility and creativity, and Frog also represents the amazing transformations
that occur during a lifetime. We
need to grow and adapt to the situations that present themselves, and Frog is
an expert at this! Frog has a
permeable skin, so this card is also associated with healing and empathy and
healing, and with partnerships.
I then stacked my cards and
created my mandala. Three Guides! Lots of information: birth and death,
healing and metamorphosis, friendship and family. This week I may be surrounded by creativity, transformation
and joy, however in the middle of it all will be a sense of detachment. Silence and a solitary focus will begin
to bring me into an inner awareness.
I can still have fun, but there just might be a sense of separation, of
not fitting in. This should not be
seen as a bad thing! I’m just
different, and I see and sense the world in a different way.
