The
Star reversed/Ace of Wands. The
Star (Air, hot/separates and wet/adapts; Aquarius, “I know,” friendships, cause-oriented, the group,
aloofness; Qof, back of head; the Path between
Malkuth, the physical world of action and outer, physical reality, and Netzach,
the stimulating factors of emotion and inspiration) in an upright position is
the “good will to all” card, and while it can hint at some unexpected darkness,
it also reminds us that things will turn out okay in the end. Since my card is
reversed, this could turn out to be a day containing a bit of darkness. I need to accept that, and find
something positive to be learned from that darkness. The Ace of Wands (Leo, “I
am,” passionate, dramatic, egotistical, Virgo, “I serve,” practical,
analytical, sensible, orderly) tells of the initial emanation of enthusiasm or inspiration
that could very well energize an entire process or project. This is inspiration that could lead to
manifestation! The Ace of Wands tells of the potential for proactive pursuit of
some goal, or some kind of catalyst that will begin a transformation. Perhaps my Star is reversed because the
Fire is not yet lit.
My
Thoth cards are the Four of Wands (“Completion”) reversed and the Ten of Disks
(“Wealth”). The Four of Wands
(Venus, beauty, allure, relationships, in Aries, “I want,” action oriented,
assertive, enthusiastic) in an upright position is about building enough to
become established, about the results of harmony and effort and creativity
combined. My card is reversed, and thus that foundation is not ready, but since
Uncle Al sees this card as also being limiting (Fire and Stability don’t mix
well), perhaps this card in a reversed position might offer something good. I can’t rest just yet, gotta keep that
Fire burning, and that might be challenging. The Ten of Disks (Mercury, reason, intelligence, education,
communication, in Virgo, “I serve,” practical, analytical, work and service
oriented) represents the attainment of physical world wealth and bounty,
usually achieved through the implementation of long-term plans, and the attempt
to maintain the status quo. Uncle
Al has a specific message for this card, too: do something with that wealth or
it will become a liability. Both
of these cards present something beneficial, but that benefit must not be
maintained beyond its usefulness.
My
Legacy card is The World reversed, flavored by The Empress reversed. The World/Universe, which corresponds
with Earth (cold/binds and dry/shapes, and material, stable and practical
energy that is slow to change), Saturn (discipline, responsibility, limitations
and resistance), Thav (mark or sign), and the Path between Malkuth (the
physical world of action and physical, outer reality) and Yesod (the place
where patterns and images emerge that may manifest into the physical world) is
a card of integration and involvement and understanding, a crystallization of
the entire issue at hand. The
Legacy World card tells of the completion of a journey, and it reminds us that
this journey is not linear, but rather circular. Thus the ending is actually a beginning, too. My card is reversed, and that means the
cycle is not completed yet.
Perhaps I’m running out of gas, or the way is foggy and unclear. My World is being flavored by another
reversed Major Arcana card, The Empress reversed. The Empress (my significator
card, which corresponds with Earth (cold/binds and dry/shapes, and stable,
material, practical energies that are slow to change), Venus (beauty, allure,
pleasure, relationships), the Hebrew letter Daleth (door or womb) and the Path
between Binah (female receptive energy and the origin of form and structure)
and Chokmah on the Tree of Life (dynamic male energy and the origin of vital
force and polarity)) is one half of the Major Arcana representation of the
Sacred Feminine, the half that is about creativity, fertility of all kinds, a
deep connection to Nature and the nurturing of others, and an enjoyment of the
senses. My Empress is reversed, and she is telling me that expansion will not
be easy today. Perhaps the clarity
necessary to reach the end of the cycle will not be coming to me through the
energies of Nature; I might need to use my mind rather than my body.
My
6-digit date number is 4, the number of depth and stability.
My
horoscopes: “Other people are the most important aspect of your day
today, Sagittarius. You'll find that things might get a bit difficult and
unruly alone, but if you connect with others, even the most challenging task
becomes almost effortless. One toothpick is easily broken, but 50 toothpicks
together are as strong as steel. Conjure up this power created by a force of
people who all share a common goal.”
And: “Use
today's powerful energy to cut through to the heart of the matter and strip
away the facade that is currently doing more harm than good. Open yourself up
to the world, and show the people around you that you have a great deal more to
offer than you have been revealing. Take a controlling role in the situation at
hand and let your needs be known. You will find that your daily life will
improve tremendously when you communicate your needs.”
