Page of Cups/Knight of Cups. The Page of Cups corresponds to Libra (“we are,” partnerships,
balance, cooperation), Scorpio (“I desire,” intensity compulsion, mystery) and
Sagittarius (“I seek,” philosophic, adventurous, blundering); is a card of soft
and tender energies and of getting fulfillment through connections to others,
and through innocent and simple joys.
The Page of Cups is imaginative and playful, and eager to serve, and she
is telling me that helping others and nurturing others is another way to
nurture myself. The Knight of
Cups (cusp of Aquarius, “I know,” friendships, the group, cause-oriented, and
Pisces, “I believe,” feelings, duality, suffering, soul growth) is about
feeling things strongly and without restraint or grounding. Often, this Knight appears calm but
actually there can be turmoil within him.
He thrives on strong emotions and fantasies and dreams, loves those Aha!
Moments, and can empathize with others.
My Thoth card is the Princess
of Cups. Ditto!! Crowley sees this card as representing
dreams and fantasies, and he sees this Princess as representing a more immature
version of the Queen of Cups.
While the Queen can work with both the emotions and the intellect, the
Princess may not always be able to do so.
This Princess is gracious and intuitive and loving, but she can also be
unstable, or unable to control her emotions.
My Legacy card is the Page of
Wands reversed, flavored by The Moon.
More Water! The
Page of Wands (Cancer, “I
feel,” sensitive, tenacious, nurturing, moody; Leo, “I am,” passionate,
dramatic noble egotistical; and Virgo, “I serve,” practical, analytical, work
and service oriented) is a fun guy to be around, unless
you have a migraine. If he was
upright, he would be telling me that enthusiasm and originality are the things
to strive for today. Because he is
reversed, the unpredictable nature of the element of Fire may be more of a
challenge than a catalyst for creativity. The Moon of the Tarot Major Arcana corresponds with Water
(cold/binds and wet/adapts, emotional and sensitive energy that strives to stay
the same), Pisces (“I believe,” feeling, suffering, soul growth, duality), Qof
(the back of the head), and the Path between Malkuth (the physical world of
action and physical, outer reality) and Netzach (the stimulating factors of
emotion and inspiration), is about feelings and emotions and instincts and the
subconscious. My Moon is reversed,
and it could be presenting discomforts, deceptions or disillusions.
My 6-digit date number is 3,
the new creation out of the position and potential of the Ace, and the balance,
polarity, and energy of “distance between” of the number 2.
My horoscopes: “Stop planning
and start doing. There may be pressure to leave your normal routine and do
something on a whim, Sagittarius. Although this may not be your usual way to do
things, it certainly isn't a reason not to. Let your mind explore new realms.
Feel free to pick up loose pieces of an old dream that you left hanging in
midair. Rekindle your passion for life.”
And: “If dramatic changes have
not already occurred in your household, they likely will today. You could be
moving out, or someone important may be moving in. What is clear is that you
have resolved an outstanding argument with your mate. Wrenching as the
disagreement was, all is forgotten in the joy of your reunion. Spend an
intimate evening together to cement your new bond.”
My Shadowscapes Insight is
regarding the Five of Cups. This
one tells of focusing on sadness, getting almost sensual pleasure from its manifestation,
to the point of distraction. While
we may feel that all is not well, in actuality things may not be as bad as they
seem, and we may not be as alone as we think we are.
