The
Tower reversed, Eight of Cups reversed. The Tower (Fire (hot/separates and dry/shapes, and spontaneous,
impulsive, energetic change), Mars (action, spontaneity, aggression, drive),
Phe (mouth or speech), and the Path between Hod (which provides analysis and
communication) and Netzach (which offers the stimulating factors of emotion and
inspiration)) in an upright position tells of a violent or explosive correction
in the way things are going.
My Tower may be reversed and thus telling me that I will be able to hold
the middle ground, but I still need to keep in mind that even the most secure
setup can be toppled. I must never
forget this possibility is hovering in the background. The Eight of Cups (Saturn, discipline, responsibility,
limitation, law and order, in Pisces, “I believe,” feeling, duality, suffering,
soul growth) in an upright position tells of an ending or a decline or a change
of direction, often one associated with emotions, and it offers one possible
response to that decline or change: moving on. The Thoth interpretation of this card is a hangover! There is a common thread to the
meanings of these two cards: persevere and hang on.
My
Thoth card is the Six of Swords.
“Science” is the keyword, and I love this card today! The Six of Swords (Mercury, reason,
intelligence, education, communication, in Aquarius, “I know,” friendships, the
group, cause oriented) is about balance, healing, moving towards a better
place, and even about learning the science behind things that work (because
understanding why they work makes them more effective). There may be a bit of melancholy to
deal with as well.
My
Legacy card is the Ace of Wands, flavored by the King of Cups. The Ace of Wands (Leo, “I am,”
passionate, dramatic, egotistical, Virgo, “I serve,” practical, analytical,
sensible, orderly) tells of the initial emanation of enthusiasm or inspiration
that could very well energize an entire process or project. Like all the Aces, this emanation is
presented as potential only, but oh boy, what potential. I may feel that I am ready to tackle
anything today, ready and prepared.
My Ace is being flavored by a nice balancing authority, the King of
Cups. The King of Cups (cusp of Libra,
“We are,” partnerships, balance, cooperation, and Scorpio, “I desire,” intense,
controlling mysterious, obsessive) is the expert on emotions and the
subconscious, mainly because of his life experiences. He is able to be calm, caring and diplomatic, and still get
things done. He should balance out
the pure force of that Ace nicely
My 6-digit
date number is 3, the number that tells of a new creation out of the potential
and position of the Ace, and the balance, polarity, and energy of “distance
between” of the 2.
My
horoscopes: “People
and situations egg you on today, Sagittarius. It may seem like there's
contention around every corner. Remember that your path is the one that you
chose. You may or may not have anticipated the barriers, but they're
unavoidable. The key to success is to strike the right balance between inner
and outer activities. Don't direct all your frustration at others. Don't hold
it all in, either.”
And: “Your life is a lot like a crusade, but
you probably already know that. You seem to spend a lot of your time trying to
persuade or convince other people of your opinions, or bring them together
toward a common goal. Yet, today, you just don't have the energy. You may not
have the enthusiasm you need to head out on the campaign trail. You probably
just need to get some rest and to rethink your strategies.”
My
Shadowscapes Insight is regarding the Three of Wands. Great message!!
We travel along the Well-Worn Path, the Path that has been blazed by
those who come before us. But
sooner or later, the Path ends, and then we must not only choose the next step
ourselves, but also have the courage to believe in our ability to choose!
My next
